New Moon in Scorpio at 28° – Emotional Alchemy
This New Moon in Scorpio, positioned at 28 degrees, is not an ordinary lunar cycle. It belongs to a sequence of six New Moons that occur at the 28th degree of the signs in the zodiac between 2025 and 2026. These degrees have a unique significance: they are completion degrees, the final steps that mark the closure of karmic themes. They indicate the culmination of cycles that are too long, too painful, or too persistent to continue. This is a time when the psyche is prepared, collectively and individually, to release the old — through the crisis — so we can step into a new dimension of experience.
The sequence began with the South Node Solar Eclipse in Virgo at 29° on September 21, 2025. That eclipse initiated a profound cycle of karmic purification, activating patterns that had been carried across lifetimes. Following that, New Moons at 28° in Libra, now 28° Scorpio, then 28° Sagittarius, and later signs Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces, all at 28° -create a deliberate sequence of closure. Each lunar phase is a marker, a portal, indicating that the old thematic energy of the sign is now exhausted and a transition toward a new frequency is imminent.
Shadows and Intuitive Insight
The New Moon in Scorpio represents the second portal of this cycle. Scorpio is the sign of depth, metamorphosis, death, sexuality, regeneration, of emotional excavation, of the unseen and unspoken truths that dwell beneath the surface and all life comlexities. It’s about the invisible realms, tabboo, abuse, shame, power dynamics, manipulation, betrayal and deeply suppressed material. The lunation in this sign simply calls for descent, especially the New Moon which calls us to go inward, to confront shadow material, emotional patterns, to surrender half-truths and superficial understandings and deeply imprinted emotional patterns. It wants us to FEEL into entanglements and involvment into unhealty community, family, and relationship dynamics, and examine whether these relationships and connections are healty or not. Is there healty reciprocity, nourishment, and validation, or is there energetic exploitation?
What I’m witnessing and experiencing right now, are deep emotional patterns coming to the surface. These patterns are unconscious programs running in the background, and the best way to recognize them is by noticing when you enter a situation that feels strangely familiar. Emotional patterns often appear in the body before the mind can make sense of them—tightness in the chest, a knot in the stomach, heat in the face, sudden tension, feeling frozen, or a racing heart.
The body usually recognizes the pattern long before the mind does.
This lunation does not invite pure mental analysis or reasoning, don’t be confused, it’s conjunct the ruler of the South Node- Mercury retrograde- and Mercury is in Scorpio and in the deepest underworld — talking to us not in spoken words — but through the sensory, symbolic and intuitive language. The intellect alone cannot navigate these waters. Mercury, our mind, brings strong mental intuition now; the messages we get are about what has been denied, suppressed, misunderstood and hidden. The mind attempts to structure, to control, to rationalize, but Scorpio demands another form of knowing — one that emerges from the body, from intuition, from the inner sensing of the hidden currents that guide life itself. Mercury is powerful here. Listen carefully and closely and allow him to saturate consciousness and reveal the patterns that have shaped our emotional reality. It’s time to acknowledge them, recognize, and break them.
At the same time, this New Moon forms trines to Neptune and Saturn retrograde in Pisces. And Saturn prepares to go direct on November 27th, just a week after the New Moon. Still, Saturn will be in its post-shadow integration period until the beginning of March 2026. When Saturn prep to station direct, we feel the pressure to move forward. So this adds heaviness, seriousness, and fatigue. The trine makes the Scorpio New Moon more intense, more introspective, more transformative, but with a sense that:
“This is necessary and meaningful, even if it’s heavy.”
It helps you see your own subconscious patterns clearly, maybe painfully, but with purpose.
Now, Neptune dissolves illusions and opens access to the subtle streams of spiritual perception and together they melt down the old structures of our consciousness. The truths that emerge are not logical; they are felt. Deeply felt. They resonate in the body, in the emotional core, in the silent knowing that precedes conscious comprehension.
In addition to this Scorpionic intensity, opposite this New Moon sits Uranus retrograde at 29° Taurus. Uranus is the agent of sudden revelation, of accidental information, change of perception, of shocks that rupture old frameworks. This opposition acts as the spark or sudden insight that forces closure. The truths that arise during this New Moon and the next two weeks may appear unexpectedly, often through accidental events, slips of speech, dreams, symbols, feels, unexplainable events, or unforeseen encounters. The shock is not random; it is a precise mechanism of evolution, designed to confront us with what we could not see, to illuminate what we had long ignored. Uranus pierces the carefully maintained illusions and accelerates the movement toward completion.
So, as this New Moon exists within a larger portal cycle, moving through 28 degrees: Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and finally Pisces on March 19, 2026. Each New Moon signifies the critical point for karmic closure and tranformation. This is not a casual sequence. It is a deliberate passage through the upper part of the zodiac — above the horizon — which points to the evolutionary direction of the collective soul development and a wave of karmic closures through crisis, and a collective preparation for a new paradigm starting at early spring 2026.
Neptune and Saturn’s conjunction and retrograde transit further accentuate the significance of this moment. Both planets have been transiting Pisces, carrying with them themes of dissolution, spiritual integration, karmic responsibility, meltdown of all structures, and collective restructuring. Their eventual transition into Aries (Neptun enters Aries on January 26th and Saturn on February 13th 2026), marks the completion of an era — and the activation of a new collective frequency: one of action, inner vision, spiritual rebirth, new identity, and taking reposibility for your actions and choices, without relying on others to ‘rescue’ you. The New Moon in Scorpio at the apex of the kite calls for deeper work embodying the descent into shadow necessary before emergence into a fresh new you.

Feminine Wisdom
The feminine energy, symbolized by the Grand Water Trine, Jupiter retrograde in Cancer, Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and Moon, Sun, and Mercury in Scorpio, creates a beautiful container, a powerful emotional and intense but flowy energy able to uphold the undergoing tranformation. The strong Yin or feminine energy perceives shadows, motives, and emotional climates that lie beneath superficial appearances. It knows without explanation, senses without reasoning, discerns truth through vibration and bodily intelligence. The Scorpio New Moon activates this innate capacity: a knowing that precedes words, a recognition of hidden patterns, a perception of the emotional truth behind situations, people, and circumstances. This lunation doesn’t tolerate falsity, double-sided truths, games, or ulterior motivation. Uranus exposes it all! It demands authenticity, depth, raw truth, all cards on the table, and resonance with the soul.
Nothing less.
Venus, the ruler of Uranus in Taurus, also in Scorpio, joins the underground gathering and the last week of Noveber she creates a couple of significant aspects : quincunx Chiron in Aries and a need to address trauma in love, then she trines Saturn in Pisces stationing direct and asks for setting healthy boundaries, and on Novemer 29-30th she forms a trine to Neptune in Pisces which gives compassion, deep empathy but also dreamy desire and idealistic love. At the same day on, November 29th Venus opposes Uranus in Taurus and here we meet the true motivation behind Venusian themes: love, finances, values, and the heart. Can this be shockingly revealing once she reaches opposition to Uranus? Oh,Yes. Both at 29th degrees! We might be able to see a whole different perspective, what we truly want and value, and inevitably, rhe opposition brings a change in how we relate and love. This aspect brings quantum jumps in self-worth and values.
This is the deeper message of the New Moon in Scorpio at 28°: the closure of karmic loops, the illumination of hidden truths, the sudden arrival of symbolic information that cannot be ignored, change of values and self-worth, and the preparation for the collective birth of a new reality. The Moon at 28°, Sun at 28°, Uranus at 29°, Mercury at 28°, Neptune at 28°, together orchestrate moments of closures in which the soul is asked to descend into its depths, to confront the unconscious, and to emerge aligned with the new cycles of evolution. We have 6 planets retrograde too and this, my friends, brings a change of direction, teachers, quides, heart, philosophy, and beliefs.
This precise alignment of lunar and planetary energies is designed to facilitate transformational insight. The accidental revelation, the shock of truth, the strange accidents, the depth of intuition — these are not disturbances. They are guides. Messages. They lead toward the completion of old patterns, and the readiness for emergence into a new intuitive human we are meant to be, once Neptune, the ruler of our collective evolutionary direction, changes its home sign Pisces and enters fiery, cardinal and pioneering Aries on January 26th, which marks the beginning of a new 165-year cycle.
The New Moon in Scorpio at 28° is, ultimately, a call to intuitive courage, to witness the hidden without flinching, and to allow the soul to absorb the truths that might feel uncomfortable or have long been waiting. It is a moment of deep evolutionary significance, both individually and collectively. Remember this one. The changes we face are profoundly important in our evolution. We dont always need to know where everything leads or ehat will happen- what truly matters is learning to trust and follow our inner voice, our intuition. It will always guide us in the right direction.

Blessings on the journey!
