Solar Eclipse in Aquarius; The Future is Tribal!

Solar Eclipse – February 17, 2026
Date: February 17, 2026
Zodiac Sign: Aquarius
Type: Annular (Ring) Solar Eclipse
Time (CET, UTC+1): Maximum eclipse: 1:12 PM CET
Tomorrow, on February 17, a powerful Solar Eclipse in Aquarius will occur—revolutionary, futuristic, shocking, and completely transformative. This eclipse is in conjunction with the fixed star Aljanah, emphasizing innovation, social awareness, and humanitarianism, bringing energies of reform and intellectual growth.
On the same day, the Chinese Year of the Fire Horse begins.
We are facing a profoundly cosmic reset.
The solar eclipse at 28° Aquarius closes a cycle of six months and the major Virgo purge I discussed in previous new moon texts, which began with the last South Node eclipse in Virgo in August 2025. At this degree, the eclipse signals liberation from identities tied to group affiliation, ideology, politics, elites, and old visions of the future. This is one of the greatest resets humanity has ever experienced.
Major Aspects: Saturn and Neptune at the Aries Point
Saturn has just left Pisces after 2.5 years, opening a new 2.5-year cycle, while Neptune recently left Pisces and entered Aries, initiating a new 14-year cycle. Saturn and Neptune are also beginning their longer cycles—Saturn 30 years, Neptune 165 years—but they have never in recorded history met in conjunction at the Aries Point, a point symbolizing beginnings and endings, death and rebirth.
Just three days after the eclipse, on February 20th, this historic exact conjunction sends a clear message: “enough is enough.”
Collectively, we are slowly emerging from confusion and entering a realm of courage and action (Aries). We are like sea turtles fresh out of the egg; blinking at a world that’s far to strange, far too big, a bit creepy an definitly not baby friendly. The terrain? Unfriendly. The mission? Move. We don’t hold committee meeting: we paddle. We head for the sea, link up with fellow hatclings, and let instinct teach the survival. Trust life, trust the divine.
We must take full responsibility for ourselves and realize we are not alone; there are others thinking the same.
The inner flame that has smoldered for years is finally igniting, but impulsive action is not the way forward. With Saturn in Aries for the next two and a half years, strategy, planning, and clarity are key, because impulsiveness now can cost more than it helps.
The Eclipse is squared by Uranus in Taurus: Values, love, finances – Survival tests.
Uranus, the ruler of this eclipse, forms a square to the eclipse, bringing a radical exit from comfort zones. Taurus represents attachment; Aquarius represents deconditioning and freedom. This square asks: What are you still holding onto because it gives you a sense of security but no longer aligns with your soul?
Uranus in Taurus is the key to the collective individuation that the Aquarius eclipse brings.
Values and boundaries go hand in hand; they cannot be separated. Know your values, express them boldly, and observe what unfolds. If your values are not respected, boundaries will be crossed, creating suffering and conflict. This is the essence of individuation—knowing who you are and where your responsibility begins and ends.
Another layer of this aspect asks us to reevaluate finances and material values. As you may have notice, copper, silver, gold, and valuable artworks are being hoarded and safeguarded…as challenging times may lie ahead.
Strong Aquarius and Pisces Energies and The Fixed Star Effect
The fixed star Aljanah in conjunction with the eclipse symbolizes victory and collective success through progressive ideas, new platforms, solutions, innovation, humanitarian action, people coming together, and courage. This is a North Node Eclipse, guiding us toward a future of innovation, group action, and visionary thinking.
Venus in Pisces conjunct the North Node – Unconditional Love
With Venus in Pisces conjunct the North Node, we have a beautiful energy of compassion, unconditional love, and empathy, seeking to manifest through shifting values and relationships. The collective soul learns now that love is not attachment, control is not stability, and security is not possession. Love is either unconditional—or it isn’t really love.
To love another human truly means loving them for who they are—not trying to control them, not shrinking the parts that make you uncomfortable, not supporting them only when they stay the same, act the same, or meet your expectations. Real love doesn’t say, “I love you, but don’t change.” It says, “I love you—and I want you to grow into who you truly are.”
It means accepting that we all have light and shadow, strengths and flaws, good days and messy days, and choosing not to withdraw love just because someone isn’t perfect. But unconditional love doesn’t mean losing yourself. It doesn’t mean tolerating disrespect or abandoning your own boundaries. It simply means loving someone as a whole human being—without trying to reshape them to protect your ego. That’s when any relationship becomes freeing, not controlling.
Aquarius: Mass Deconditioning and New Identities
The eclipse at 28° Aquarius triggers mass deconditioning and the release of old patterns. Uranus demands radical change in values. People are beginning to feel their true identities, become more objective, see the bigger picture, and think for the good of society—not just themselves.
From the shadows of the eclipse emerge rebels, alternative thinkers, brave souls, innovators, daredevils, true leaders, and tech geniuses who use technology for the collective good rather than control or destruction. But in Aquarius, there is also the risk of technology serving only “the stinky boot.” Transhumanism never brings anything good.
Over the next six months, new social platforms and ideas will emerge too. People will recognize the need to connect, independent communities will grow, and new systems will form within decaying old ones. (If not us, then someone else will.)
The Aquarius eclipse will birth new communities within the old system. These are necessary, representing active creation and construction of new structures that serve life, people, and the individual. The new world is beginning, and you are in the VIP section: confused, restless, angry, protective, deconditioned, disillusioned, yet brave enough – with a heart of fire.
Neptune in Aries: Spirit Moves Into Action
Saturn leaving Pisces and Neptune entering Aries in the last weeks- marks a collective emergence from confusion, breaking illusions, and revealing the world for what it really is. This is the moment to take full responsibility for ourselves and become our own authority.
Neptune in Aries puts divine will into action, moving spirit from awareness into action. Now is the time to be courageous, protect others, and act for the good of all. Action and will are not merely helpful—they are necessary for evolution.
The eclipse energy will shape our world for the next six months, and we are not the only ones aware of it. If we remain passive or disconnected, it will be too late. The new world must be born, and you are part of it. The collective consciousness is already shifting, and the magnitude is extraordinary. Forces of darkness will try to keep people silent, but when you know, it is clear what you must do.
It’s time for people to come together.
Bottom-up solutions, not top-down.
Astrology has its own language, it gives us the key, but it cannot unlock the doors for us. That responsibility is ours.
The astrology of February and the next six months signals mass deconditioning, collective action, compassion, and accelerated evolution. Actions are evolution now!
Use social media to inform and connect, but not to live there. We need to come together in real life.

Eclipse blessings and Happy New Era, warriors!

Tea Franca
