Uranus and Venus Shift; A Turning Point in Values – New Consciousness and Information Overload!

Art by Tea Franca

As Uranus approaches the end of its nearly eight-year passage through Taurus and prepares to enter Gemini for the first time in 84 years, it forms a final conjunction with its ruler — Venus — at the anaretic, critical degree of Taurus. This is a powerful, turning-point configuration: a crisis of values and desire.

This marks the end of a cycle.

Old values and patterns of attachment reach peak tension. An inner conflict arises — because we can no longer remain within a system of values that has become emotionally or evolutionarily outdated. These are the final lessons of Uranus in Taurus.

Venus represents what we are attached to — what we define as worth, love, and security. Uranus carries the principle of awakeninga force that disrupts unconscious attachments. It accelerates change in relationship patterns and brings sudden insights into what you truly desire.

This is the moment of inner recognition: “I am not the same person in what I love.”

Outdated systems of value begin to collapse.

A shift in evolutionary focus- Uranus in Gemini

As Uranus enters Gemini (April 25th), the evolutionary focus fundamentally shifts.

Where Uranus in Taurus dismantled what we value, Uranus in Gemini dismantles how we think.

This brings the breakdown of rigid belief systems, the fragmentation of inherited narratives, and the acceleration of mental processes. Perception is liberated from conditioning, and it becomes clear that thoughts are not truth — they are movement.

The mind may enter a phase of instability (a kind of crisis), but this serves a purpose: to become more adaptive, more aware, and less identified with its own content. Identity begins to detach from thought.

Uranus accelerates a form of consciousness that no longer clings to any single “truth,” because every truth is only a temporary structure of perception.

Security is no longer found only in ideas, but in the act of noticing — in the living, continuous movement between thoughts. Here, curiosity and freedom become the natural state of a mind that no longer closes itself.

Depth, intuition, and irreversible transformation

This configuration gains additional depth through its aspects: Uranus and Venus are in sextile with Neptune and in trine with Pluto.

This points to a need for psychological honesty regarding desire, attraction, combined with heightened intuition and deep transformation.

Uranus breaks down old patterns of values and thinking, creating sudden shifts in perception and desire. Venus experiences this as a redefinition of love, value, longing, and meaning.

The sextile to Neptune adds a layer of empathy and imagination — opening the heart to deeper dimensions of connection, while requiring discernment! to avoid projection or illusion.

The trine to Pluto points to irreversible change. This is an evolutionary leap in consciousness — a transformation that cannot be undone.

This configuration truly supports emotional truth, psychological depth, and the authentic regeneration of desire and relational patterns. Pluto deepens what Uranus initiates, making the transformation lasting.

But here, change happens through awareness — as a deep inner alignment with what you truly are and what you truly want.

The Larger Context: History, the Information Apocalypse, and the Shadow Side of Uranus in Gemini

Art by Tea Franca

Uranus was last in Gemini from 1941 to 1948 — a historical event that is known to everyone.

It marked the birth of early computing.

Radio became a powerful tool of mass influence and propaganda.

Information gained speed — and with it, power.

Now, we are entering an amplified version of that cycle. Information will move at unprecedented speed. The mind will be constantly stimulated.

And with that comes the shadow: false voice. fabricated narratives, distorted truths. an overload of information and overwhelm, with the nervous sistem under strain.

The line between what is real and what is constructed will become increasingly thin.

AI and technology won’t just assist — they will generate “wisdom.” Content will multiply to the point of saturation, and within that noise, it will become increasingly difficult to feel what is true.

So the key to this transit is not more informationbut better discernment.

The ability not to believe every thought.

The ability to develop our own perspective through intuitive wisdom while gathering information.

At the same time, there will be a growing need for nervous system regulation, because the body may struggle to keep up with the speed and volume of mental input.

We will need to slow down in order to stay aware.

To disconnect in order to remain connected.

Selectivity becomes survival… what we give our attention to.

Blessings on the journey.
