Full Moon in Aquarius Conjunct Pluto & Nodal Shift

On July 26, 2026, the True North Node moves into Aquarius, beginning a new 18-month cycle that will continue until March 26, 2028. Just three days later, on July 29, the Full Moon reaches Aquarius at 4:35 PM CEST in Berlin, bringing these two events together in a rather striking way.

The Full Moon in Aquarius is conjunct Pluto, bringing light into the underworld, into the shadow side of Aquarius, and into everything that exists beneath the surface of the collective reality we are living through.

The timing feels significant.

The North Node has barely entered Aquarius when the Full Moon arrives, shining a light into Plutonian territory: the occulted, the buried, the suppressed, the unconscious, and the forces that are working behind the scenes while the collective story continues to speak about progress, innovation and a better future.

There is always more happening beneath the surface with Pluto.

This lunation opens a deeper conversation about where humanity is heading, who is shaping that direction, and what may be hidden underneath the story of progress that we are increasingly being asked to accept without questioning it too much. Beneath the language of innovation, freedom and collective advancement, there are also questions of manipulation, control, secrecy, hypocrisy and the concentration of power.

This is why the Full Moon being conjunct Pluto and opposite the Sun, which is conjunct Jupiter in Leo, feels so important.

A beam of light suddenly enters the darkness and reveals something that has been operating there for a long time.

And what is illuminated may not be comfortable.

This is Pluto’s territory.

Pluto is the god of the underworld, and the underworld is not interested in appearances, but in what is real, in what has been buried, in what has been denied and in the motives that we do not always want to admit, even to ourselves.

Jupiter opposite Pluto intensifies questions around beliefs and the expansion of existing ideologies. Jupiter magnifies whatever it touches, and this aspect can bring an intensification of beliefs, struggles over who holds the truth, and a confrontation with our own excesses. It can also point towards the dismantling of old philosophical, moral or spiritual structures that have become too rigid or too disconnected from reality, creating space for something more truthful to emerge.

The shadow of Aquarius is the belief that we can create a perfect future through technology while somehow avoiding the deeper psychological and emotional realities that still shape us as human beings. Pluto does not allow this kind of avoidance to continue forever.

Eventually, what has been buried rises to the surface. And what we discover there may tell us far more about ourselves, and about the future we are creating, than the technology itself ever could.

There is a deep human desire to become more powerful than we feel we are, to control what we cannot control, to overcome nature, uncertainty and limitation, and perhaps even to escape the fact that we are human beings with a soul living inside bodies, dependent on the natural world and subject to forces much greater than ourselves.

Pluto asks us to look honestly at these motives.

It brings us into the depths so that we are forced to see what has been operating in the dark: the power structures, unconscious desires, corruption and psychological mechanisms that have been shaping reality from behind the scenes.

While the outer planets form beautiful and supportive aspects that open the door to new paradigms, new opportunities and profound shifts in perception, we should not take the developments being presented to us as inevitable or automatically beneficial simply because they are called progress.There is a difference between progress and acceleration.There is a difference between innovation and wisdom. And there is a difference between having the ability to do something and knowing whether we should do it.

Chiron’s Call !

Chiron in Taurus brings us back to the body, nature and the physical world, precisely those things that can easily be forgotten as our reality becomes increasingly digital. AI requires enormous physical infrastructure, and the more digital our world becomes, the more important it is to remember the physical reality that makes this digital existence possible. Behind every apparently weightless technological system, there is something very physical.There are resources.There is energy.There is land.There is water.There are minerals.There are people.There are companies and governments and structures of power.Technology does not exist outside the material world.

And technology is power.

Information is power.

The promise of Aquarius is freedom, innovation and collective progress, but Pluto’s long journey through Aquarius, lasting almost two decades, also forces us to confront the shadow of that promise.

Centralisation. Surveillance. Technological dependency. The concentration of information and power in the hands of a few.

The North Node in Aquarius is introducing itself through Plutonian Full Moon. Isn’t that interesting?

Aquarius, in its highest expression, serves the collective. It creates innovations that contribute to humanity and understands that the future belongs to everyone, not only to those who have the greatest access to resources, technology or influence. Aquarius also celebrates individuality. It allows people to be different, to think differently, to create differently, to express themselves authentically and to exist outside the norm. But the shadow of Aquarius appears when the collective becomes more important than the individual, when belonging comes at the price of independent thought, when groupthink replaces discernment and when people are punished for refusing to conform to the ideology of the group or the system.This is where Aquarius can become deeply distorted.

The very archetype that speaks about freedom can become intolerant of anyone who does not agree with the collective.The community can become a machine in service to the leader. The group can become an ideology. Even a cult. And the individual can become disposable.

Over the next 18 months, we will be confronted with the shadow of the collective will: hypocrisy, moral superiority, the belief that we are somehow more enlightened, more evolved or above others, the abuse of social position and the corruption of leaders, communities and collective structures. We may witness an enormous amount of hypocrisy being exposed within groups, institutions and communities.Those who have preached freedom while demanding obedience.Those who have spoken about equality while protecting their own privileges.Those who have presented themselves as champions of progress while quietly using power for control and personal gain.

Pluto will bring these contradictions to the surface. Pluto cares about what is underneath. And eventually, Pluto destroys what cannot survive the truth.

This is why the coming South Node Solar Eclipse in Leo may bring the downfall of leaders, authorities and powerful figures who have remained protected by systems of secrecy, corruption, manipulation or collective complicity.Those who have been sitting on their thrones for too long may discover that the structure beneath them is no longer stable. We may see them jumping from one sinking ship to another like rats, but Pluto is not interested in helping anyone maintain an illusion simply because it has existed for a long time.

What has been hidden can no longer remain hidden.

The spotlight is on.

Nothing stays hidden forever from the one who has truly learned to see. What remains unseen by many is often already clear to those with inner vision. The veil can hide the truth for a while, but sooner or later, those who have eyes to see will recognize what was there all along.
